United Overseas Bank is an international bank, a branch of UOB Singapore, which is one of the leading financial groups in Asia and the Pacific. It was founded in 1935 as an international Chinese bank and it was actively developed in Singapore’s neighboring countries.

In the 2018, it is represented in 19 countries on three continents, including Australia, the USA, Canada and Japan. The main bank divisions are located in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand and Indonesia. In 2017 this institution was recognized as the best foreign bank in Thailand.

Assets

The total UOB assets are about 200 billion dollars. The bank expends the loan programs every year, it is a leader in Singapore for: credit cards issuance and mortgage products sale. It makes small business financing and active startup investments.

Bank offices, ATMs and exchange offices are open in all provinces, mainly in large cities. Bank representative offices are not as wide-spread as in leading Thai banks - about 170 offices, 15 exchange offices and 340 ATM’s. In Pattaya and Phuket resorts bank offices are usually located in grand malls. The corporate colors are dark-blue and gray, and the logo is decorated with a large white font.
