Thanachart Bank was established in 2002 on the basis of a successful financial institution that existed since 1959. It is included in the Thanachart business group. It merged with Siam City Bank Public Company Limited (SCIB) in 2011. Currently, 48.99% of its shares belong to the company from the Netherlands Scotia Netherlands Holding BV. It provides a full range of banking services for the private sector of the economy and citizens in Thailand.

Assets

The bank is the sixth in terms of assets, as well as the leader in the number of issued car loans. It provides services to small and medium-sized businesses, insurance, brokerage services. Total assets of the bank are 1 trillion baht.

Network in Thailand

TBANK has 4 million customers and nearly 15,000 employees. There are more than 600 branches, 51 exchange offices and 2,100 ATMs throughout the country.

The corporate color of Thanachart Bank is orange. ATMs are located in the airports of Bangkok, Phuket, in major shopping centers, on the main tourist streets of resorts, including the islands of Koh Samui and Koh Chang. At one time it is possible to withdraw 20,000 baht, the withdrawal fee is 200 baht – it is lower than in many other banks. Basically, only Thai language is found in ATM, English can be found into newer devices.
